The phrase "Business Events" is rather vague because it covers so many things like: business networking, round-tables, shareholder meetings, parties, celebrations and other business-related social gatherings. There are many major cities in the UK (Manchester, Birmingham & Glasgow) that hold high quality events, but London is probably the best because of easy rail access.

• Business Networking is a socioeconomic activity by business people and entrepreneurs to meet and form new business relationships, create, or act upon business opportunities, share information and seek potential partners for ventures.
  
  
• Round-Table is a form of academic discussion. Participants agree on a specific topic to discuss and debate. Each person is given equal rights to participate (illustrated by the idea of a circular layout referred to in the term round table), as opposed to a rectangular table with a predetermined hierarchy. Round table discussions are also a common feature of political talk shows.
  
  
• Shareholder Meetings are held so that shareholders in a particular enterprise and meet and discus the future road-map, performance (or lack of) of that enterprise with the current executives.
  
  
• Parties / Celebrations Don't need much explanation, but they are a more enjoyable and less formal way to achieve the first three points above.
